Parisian transplant Gaëlle Drevet founded The Frankie Shop in 2014, driven by a desire for garments that embraced her unique feminine/masculine aesthetic. With a Lower East Side boutique that resonated globally, The Frankie Shop expanded to Los Angeles, Paris, and London. Recently, the brand elevated its presence in Paris with a shop-in-shop at Galeries Lafayette, featuring an interior design by French architect Antoine Mège.
The space, perched on the second floor, boasts a visually dynamic setting with a curved partition in raw black cork, metal racks, and tiered displays in pristine white cork. Mirrors offer unexpected perspectives, while the fitting rooms, clad in black cork, exude a sense of seclusion with minimalist furnishings by Donald Judd. The shop-in-shop exclusively carries select items from The Frankie Shop’s women’s collection.
