Maison Margiela and Gentle Monster redefine eyewear with their latest collaborative campaign, showcasing 17 genderless designs from Margiela’s Co-Ed Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Shot by Jordan Hemingway, the campaign unveils a diverse array of frames, including ten sunglasses and seven eyeglasses, each reflecting Margiela’s distinctive artisanal touch.
The eyewear collection introduces innovative elements like artisanal leather-wrapped frames and temple-less constructions, setting it apart in terms of both style and functionality. Acetate frames present a palette of black, gray, white, cream, tortoiseshell, and transparent hues, while leather-framed pieces boast black, khaki, ivory, and blue. The signature white stitching, synonymous with Margiela’s craftsmanship, provides the finishing touch.
Expanding on their initial collaboration from the previous spring, Maison Margiela and Gentle Monster elevate their forward-facing vision, offering an extended range of frames. This collection not only emphasizes style but also aligns with the fashion narrative presented in Maison Margiela’s Co-Ed SS24 collection.
