The Jay pays homage to the city’s Brutalist architecture with AvroKO’s touch, infusing warmth into its design. Inspired by the influential figures and the counterculture movement of the ‘60s, the space seamlessly blends history into patterns and reflective elements, creating a timeless and contemporary ambiance.
At the heart of the hotel lies the Third Floor—a versatile space serving as a bar, lounge, coffee haven, and three-meal restaurant. The focal point is a spiral staircase, a tribute to architect John Portman.
Adorned with specially commissioned concrete artwork and a bronze masterpiece by sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro, it connects all three floors, symbolizing unity and artistic expression.
