In an unprecedented collaboration, Beckham has joined forces with Breitling to launch her inaugural collection of timepieces. Having spent years as a collector, Beckham applies her distinctively elegant aesthetic to Breitling’s new Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham series. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both Beckham and Breitling, being the luxury watchmaker’s first venture with a fashion house.
The Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham offers a time-and-date model available in stainless steel or gold, featuring an integrated bracelet and a choice of bold blue, green, silver, or champagne dials. This collaboration is particularly meaningful for Beckham, drawn to Breitling’s rich heritage, which aligns with her preference for watches that transcend generations. Expressing her excitement about the design process, Beckham compares it to her approach to seasonal clothing lines, drawing inspiration from her surroundings and experiences. Despite her extensive background in fashion design, Beckham acknowledges the unique challenges posed by watchmaking, where constraints on design are more pronounced due to the limited space.
The standout feature of the Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham collection lies in the combination of dial colors and metal choices. Breitling has created four exclusive dial shades for this series, each carefully selected to convey the desired emotional tone. Breaking new ground, Beckham introduces both stainless steel and yellow gold options, marking the first appearance of yellow gold in the modern Chronomat lineup.
The collection, equipped with Breitling’s COSC-certified, self-winding Caliber 10 movement, offers stainless steel models ranging from $5,600 to $5,950 and limited to just 400 pieces each. For enthusiasts of luxury, the yellow gold versions are priced at $29,500, with only 100 pieces available for each model.
