Discover Lisbon’s Jam Hotel, a testament to circular design and craftsmanship by interior architect Lionel Jadot. Transformed from a drab office block into an artful haven, the hotel features upcycled art and design. Locally sourced materials, such as cork and burnt eucalyptus wood, are transformed into modular bunk beds and eco-tile headboards, showcasing the city’s art scene.
The lobby boasts moulded concrete furniture, murals by Brazilian artist Ylana Yaari, and signature tiles using lime plaster, cork waste, and terracotta clays. The rooftop lounge, Cabana, crowned with an elongated swimming pool, features hand-painted tiles by Bela Silva, Tucurinca furniture, wooden ping-pong tables, and ceramic mask sculptures by Mon Colonel Spit.
Mojjo restaurant, headed by chef Mauro Airosa, offers gourmet fusion amid bespoke chairs by Emmanuel Babled studio. Solid-cut marble blocks rescued from a nearby quarry add sophistication to the dining experience.
