The King Power MahaNakhon, a Bangkok icon since 2016, reaches new heights of allure with the introduction of The Standard, its highly anticipated five-star luxury haven. Designed by Ole Scheeren, this skyscraper now houses The Standard, marking the hotel chain’s second outpost in Thailand. Spanish designer Jaime Hayón collaborates with The Standard’s in-house team to craft an aesthetic masterpiece within the hotel’s 155 rooms and public spaces.
The lobby, a double-height spectacle in emerald green, sets the tone with handmade rattan lamps, carefully curated furnishings, and artistic floor depictions. The rooms, available in six categories, offer a contemporary and playful setting, blending vibrant colors and fluid shapes. The grand Bigger Penthouse, a 144 sqm marvel, beckons with lavish extras, including a dining area for eight and panoramic views.
Beyond luxurious accommodations, The Standard elevates Bangkok’s hospitality scene with its diverse dining and nightlife offerings. The first international outpost of The Standard Grill, a New York-inspired brasserie, graces the property, offering an all-day dining experience. Mott 32, a renowned Chinese restaurant from Hong Kong, introduces Cantonese dishes with Beijing and Sichuan influences.
Ojo, a rooftop restaurant with a retro-glam ambiance, reimagines Mexican cuisine, while Sky Beach reigns supreme as the city’s rooftop playground. The Parlour, a versatile space, hosts various events, and Tease, a contemporary tea room, offers an extensive tea selection alongside American desserts. The picturesque pool, surrounded by lush greenery, presents a serene escape, complemented by The Standard Gym, a 24-hour fitness venue.
Indulge in the good life at The Standard, where luxury, dining, and relaxation converge seamlessly.
