In the bustling landscape of Chengdu, a first-tier city witnessing a surge in brand diversification, especially homegrown ones, the hospitality scene is experiencing a wave of new lodgings. SFEEL Designer Hotel, a local boutique chain, recently unveiled its latest outpost near Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li, Chengdu’s premier luxury shopping center. Occupying 1,600 sqm. on the third floor of a modern building, the hotel’s interior is a creation by HARMO Design, reflecting the city’s evolving taste and lifestyle.
The entrance on the ground floor welcomes guests with a shiny metal-clad elevator hall, adorned with whimsical graphic design, providing a glimpse of the design ethos throughout the premises. The lobby, a spacious and refined corridor, combines raw concrete, metal, and modern materials, enhanced by LED ceilings and skylights. Tailored for modern travelers, the lobby boasts a contactless self-service check-in area, a coffee lounge, and an aroma therapy gift shop.
SFEEL Designer Hotel offers guest rooms in six categories, varying in size and setting. Some rooms are complemented by a lush inner courtyard, emphasizing the harmonious dialogue between outdoor and indoor spaces. The room design employs warm wood and light green tones, creating a serene atmosphere. The outdoor terrace is divided into two gardens—a public garden facing the street and a smaller one flanking guest rooms. The design integrates the outdoor landscape into the interior, providing a peaceful view shielded by the frame.
The Garden Tangchi Queen Room, spanning 55 sqm., stands out as the largest, featuring a double bed, LCD TV, complimentary WiFi, balcony with garden view, and more. The interior walls, intentionally white and unadorned, contribute to a relaxed backdrop, while furnishings remain simple and understated, enhancing the overall sense of calmness. The bathroom, equipped with a tub and complimentary toiletries, completes the guest experience.
