FENDI has undergone a significant relocation within Amsterdam’s luxury shopping district, P.C. Hooftstraat. The new store, spanning three floors across two connected red brick buildings, offers a spacious shopping experience. Designed by FENDI’s in-house team and Amsterdam-based designer Gabriela Puig Soleille, the exterior seamlessly blends traditional red brick with reflective mirror bricks.
The interior maintains this fusion of history and modernity, featuring sophisticated settings across the premises. The ground floor, dedicated to women’s accessories and shoes, boasts a combination of red and mirror bricks, textured walls, and bespoke carpets. Unique furnishings, such as circular walnut wood tables and artistic doors, contribute to the ambiance. The staircase, adorned with stainless steel and artwork, leads to the top floor, where Canaletto doors divide the space.
The front section is light-filled, with marble flooring and cozy seating, while the back section showcases women’s apparel in a setting of Canaletto wood walls. The basement houses the menswear collections, characterized by deep green walls and Patagonia marble flooring. The dramatic staircase remains a focal point, creating a visually striking atmosphere.
