Terrakota, a new bistro-inspired dining concept in Shanghai’s lively Jing’an district, introduces a fresh and sophisticated take on Mediterranean cuisine. Designed by MDO, the 450 sqm. restaurant features terracotta tiles adorning walls, floors, and the open kitchen, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The outdoor terrace, complemented by lush plants and a retractable roof, extends the dining space and offers panoramic city views. Terrakota’s intentional open layout fosters a social hub ambiance, while a private dining area upstairs provides a more intimate setting. Crafted from materials like cotton, linen, oak, leather, and ceramic, the furnishings seamlessly blend with the diverse settings.
The menu showcases Mediterranean and Atlantic coast delicacies for lunch and dinner, accompanied by a curated selection of wines and cocktails.
